This incident caused the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Police detained a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several people injured by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
